Koh Chang Marine National Park is composed of 52 islands, Koh Chang is the largest and it is actually the second largest island in Thailand behind Phuket. About 75% of this National Park is protected by law under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Department of Thailand. This is why Koh Chang is still untouched by modernization.
There are many large car ferries linking the mainland to Koh Chang. The road swoops up and down over the cliffs lead you to many beautiful sandy beachs, caves and bays around the island.
